I look at my tiny baby and can not believe that 2 weeks ago I gave birth to her. It was such a build up . . . such a long process to get there that now it almost surprises me when she stirs in the night that I have a Newborn to tend to. I think that I think I will wake up, still be pregnant and waiting.
Since Reese had gone down to 5.11 at her 2 day appointment and we were also told that she was a bit jaundice, I was very fearful that EVERYONE would push me to give her formula to bulk up, pee more and that is just not what I wanted to do. I figured that if I fed on demand, whenever she seemed hungry than she would gain and be ok. I also had read that exclusively breastfeeding is what would make my milk come in more quickly, and on the 29th it sure did! I was laying in bed when I literally felt the girls blow up with milk . . . I thought to myself is this what fake ones feel like!? Reese has enjoyed this very much and makes loud gulping noises when she eats along with loving coos and smiles.

Speaking of wiggle, Reese is a busy girl . . . already. She moves her hands and feet with such force that Dr. Fisher (her Pediatrician) even commented on how mobile she was! She thrashes around when awake and often startles herself . . . and when sleeping her hands are in a slow movement like she is signing something important to tell us.

What a beautiful baby! I love the fact that she slept in her Great Nana's bassinet it has a lot of family history and it was her first sleep over.
