Snow Trip!

Reese and I took a drive up to Roseville to visit with the Boyle Family, on a Friday afternoon - it was a quick drive! We hung out on Friday night, drew on the driveway and enjoyed a nice spring day.

We got up at the butt crack of dawn to drive up to a snow park. It was a long drive not time wise, just 2 lanes and LOTS of trucks. Reese got very ancy and I was mad at myself that I didn't put a video on for her. We got there, changed the kids into snow gear and pulled on our own snow boots. It was cold but sunny.

At first, Reese did not enjoy it. She was a tired mess and I think the crowd overwhelmed her. I felt bad, because I wasn't sure what to do! I suddenly remember the Bugaboo stroller has a big wheel that you are suppose to be able to use on everything . . . including snow. I went to the car, got the stroller and snacks.


Who knew she was going to eat all day! I, of course, was not prepared but thankfully Krisi brought lots with her (Mom of 3 boys, she is so much better at this than me!) and we happily gave Reese more and more to eat.

Even a little snow was a yummy treat - and well, it kept her busy!

We got back to nice weather and the boys went in the hot tub. Reese wanted to also but it was "hot, ouchie" and was happy putting her toes in the pool. But then wanted to "jumpy, jumpy peees Mommie".

It was super fun (but tiring) trip! Thanks Boyle Family!
