No Longer a SAHM

As most of you know, I have been working part time since Reese turned 1. At first, it was just 3 days subbing around Palcare, working in all the rooms and sorta making my own schedule. Then it moved into part time 4 days covering for another Teacher on medical leave, when she returned I stayed on covering for another Teacher in the same room! It gave me the ability to still be part time but have a classroom, get back into my grove doing paperwork and Newsletter.

I was offered a full time Lead Teacher position in the Preschool classroom last week. I took the weekend to think about . . . trying to decide if it is the best choice for myself, for Reese, for my marriage and lastly . . . financially.

After much thinking, I took the job. I am hoping that the parents and staff are welcoming and happy that I will be joining the Team. There hasn't been much talk and only one parent has approached me, not sure if that is good or bad. Only time will tell . . . and after June 1st, when I officially start, we shall see.
