Reese Found New Friends

Reese found Sesame Street. I do mean, SHE found it. One morning, as I didn't want to get out of bed and Reese had finished nursing . . . I let my eyes close as she crawled around the bed as I held onto her ankle. She thinks it is funny and tries to look over the edge, lays down and pumps her little butt in the air. But, this morning . . . she was more into the remotes. I could careless if she plays with them so I just held onto her little leg while she chewed on it, pushed the buttons, and threw it.

Suddenly, the room is filled with light and I laughed that she turned on the TV. Then, she picks up the cable remote (which is different) and press 2 2. And what pops on . . . ELMO! I sit up, what? I didn't even know we had a channel 22 or that it was PBS!

I get up and take her to the Living Room, put the coffee on and let her finish the show (I also set the DVR to record it!) and when I look back she had found her water juice cup from last night (which she didn't drink, but put in the toy box) and she is dancing and sort of trying to hand the Monsters her cup . . . funny little girl!

Every Kid needs to discover Sesame Street...even I watched it and I was around when the dinosaurs roamed the earth!!!
This will make your life so much easier, you need to find PBS Sprout on that remote!

At first, I was naive to think - oh, I won't do or need TV. But now . . . geez, I would never pee!

She LOVES Oswald too . . . it is a goofy, silly cartoon, but bright and very repetative.

I have very distinct SS memories, namely a few counting cartoons and the "me and my llama" song...good times! Let's just be thankful, though, that she didn't "find" Barney...blech! I cringe to think that my child may some day adore that giant purple disaster ;)
