Reese has been practicing sitting up for awhile now . . . I didn't want to push and since she likes tummy time with no issues. I just let her do her thing - cruising all over the floor on her tummy, scooting where she needs to go.
Since she was feeling much better, I have been placing her on the floor with support sitting. She would lean forward and flop - and be on her tummy. But, we kept trying. I figured with time and a bit of help - she would figure out how to use her tummy muscles, back muscles and legs to not flop forward. We just had to be patient.
Reese and I went to our Monday Older Infant Playgroup. I enjoy this one so much, but Reese often gets overwhelmed by the crawlers and now walkers and we end up sitting on the couch nursing. But, today - I sat her in front of me on the floor, but with no support. I just was right there if she flopped back. But, she didn't. She sat for along time. I was so excited!
It was bath night, so I decided to try out a hand-me-down tub thingy we got from the Gilmour's. It was great. She played, but was a bit cold. I think we will get a ring and use the sink still - better for my back.

She is such a cutie! I am cautiously looking forward to sitting up with my little Bubba. Cautiously because I'm not too sure I'm ready for him to get that big yet!
Reese is a doll as usual! I love the pic of her in the baby legs!
