We decided that a party either in December would be easier on the friends and family so on the 6th we celebrated with a big party. It may have been a little too much, Reese was upset and clingy but I knew it would be for maybe 4 hours . . . she would just have to pull thru. Once the party thinned out, and the help with a little sugar high, Reese enjoyed the end of the party. Thank you to all that came, gave wonderful gifts and enjoyed the day with us.

The party looked so fun! I hope you enjoyed yourself a little! I know it's sometimes hard for the mommy to have fun when you are hosting.
Love the pictures. Duke bawled at his first b-day when everyone sang to him.
It's hard to really enjoy all the moments when you're hosting like Shara said, but sounds like it was fun.
So sad we missed it...we had Jenna's same weekend!
