Danny had planned/blocked out the dates for us to go to our Tahoe timeshare forever ago, so when we realized it was the week after Reese party . . . I panicked thinking we were in no way ready to go. But, we got our act together and Sunday, the day after the party, we drove up to Tahoe.
The drive was long and Reese just isn't a traveler so I was dying to get th
ere. Our little condo was cute and they were e
quipped with a small crib and highchair. We brought a few comforts of home like he beloved Boppy and the humidifier for white noise.
It wasn't snowing in the town (city?) of Tahoe so it was really cold, and not much to do. I quickly realized I was coming down with the dreaded cold (Thanks husband!) which made this the vacation from hell for me. Danny played golf one day, we went to lunch and wandered the Casinos another and on Wednesday, I told Danny I just need to go home. We packed up, took a Gondola ride to the top of the mountain, then got in the car and drove home.
It was short, but sweet . . . at least Reese got to touch some snow.

What a busy week you had! I'm sorry you got sick but yay for gettin out in some snow!
Tahoe sounds like a fun place.
Too bad you got sick but at least you got some great shots for her scrapbook/photo album, right? :)
