Palcare - Part 2

Reese has been enrolled at Palcare for a little over a month now, but since she spent a great deal of February sick - I thought this past week was going to be like starting over. I had prepared myself for yelling and screaming most of the day. Not the case at all.

Drop off on Tuesday wasn't easy, she did cry. But not for long. She recovered soon after Music Class and has found a bit of help with "Monkey" (a small stuffed toy I brought from home) and her Teacher Alejandra. She was tired but played well with her classmates, ate lunch and took a nap.

I got to spy on her when she was outside with a small group, playing in the sandbox with her little jacket and hood on. She looked like a toddler, like a big girl. Picking up sand and stomping on piles. She looked up and saw me, flapping her little hands in excitement and running over to me. Pure joy.
