Reese and I (Daddy had to work) met the Morrison family down in Monterey to explore the aquarium. It was a long drive there and back - but well worth it!

Reese walking thru this cave - it was very small so I stayed on one end and let her walk in. She amazingly came back out to me!

I was a bit scared going to such a big and busy place with Reese alone. But Uncle Woody was a big help pushing the empty stroller so Reese and I could walk. It was great fun and she enjoyed the childrens area . . . I wasn't brave enough to let her touch the sea creatures. I thought she would be rough or just try to dive in!
It was great fun . . . and even hitting a bit traffic on the way back was no big deal. I had a tea latte from Starbucks and Reese passed out the entire way back - all 2 hours.

oooh looks fun! i didnt even know they had a children't area.
two hours...what a great mama for driving all that way for reese! i just heard about another free indoor rec center that i'm goign to check out this afternoon. will let you know if its worth going to :)
