Last week, among the dreaded heat wave Reese discovered a few new things that have lead to over to more new discoveries! The first being Raspberries. I noticed she was blowing more out of her mouth and then one morning I woke up to this sounds . . . of a Toddler in the room with me. She pushes her little lips together and blows - hard. She is amazed at the spit, bubbles and sound. And if you do it to her, she stares at you for a long time and then copies or giggles. It is a new pastime of ours.
With the heat wave, Reese was often barely dressed . . . which lead her to finding her feet! She had discovered them before but never had held on for a long period of time with them in the air (diaper changes have become fun!). She grabbed them one day and off to the side she went, she noticed a toy and flop - there she was on her tummy!!!! I was shocked it happened so soon.
Now, she rolls over all the time and get very annoyed that she is there. I flip her back and over she goes . . . it is a game, but she doesn't like it very much!
Here is a slideshow that I pieced together, you may notice the different times of the day - it is hard to get her rolling over stage, but I wanted it documented! I am crazy like that.
