Reese is five months old today.
She is becoming more and more of a baby everyday, so much less of an infant. She lays on her playmat and entertains herself until bored with that and we move on to play with Mom or Dad.
Since the rollover is her favorite "move" right now, we play the game of wanting to be on the floor, rolls over and rubs her face on the blanket. She is then mad and wants back over - which she does not want to do. It is funny and yet rough because she seems to cry more than before.
We also tried out an Exerusaucer this past week. She was OK with it for only a few minutes before but now sits and spins around to get the other toys beside her.
Speaking of toys, she has discovered them and really enjoys them - well for the most part. She loves a small purple elephant we think because his truck fits in her mouth like a nipple, so she often gets very mad at Elephant! I must video it - it is so funny!!!
Reese is also become so mature - she can often (not always) put herself to sleep for a nap with either her thumb, the Paci or rubbing her face with a blanket or soft bear. I play some soft music and lower the shade and she drifts off to sleep. Sometimes she will wake because her cute little thumb falls out - but she finds it and lulls herself back to dream land. So sweet.
Next, I will work on not needing the Boob to go to sleep at night, but I have got awhile for that :-) I think.
