Enjoying the Weather

It is January, and sort of hot for the Bay Area. The sun has been out for days, the sky is clear and beautiful. The weather is wonderful, and sort of odd. It is suppose to be cold, and raining. But, I figured I better get Reese out and about before it disappears (which it did, I am writing this way after).

I joined the Toddlers at San Bruno Park for their Friday morning Playgroup. I haven't been to the Toddler stuff yet so I thought a morning at the park would be good, especially since Rees had gotten up at the crack of dawn and was already napped by 10am. We got the park, and not many other Moms were there so Reese wandered a bit. She enjoyed the swings, but not the play structure. The holes are too large and I think it made her perception off.

We then walked around San Mateo Avenue in San Bruno. We went into the new ice cream shop by the fancy swim school called Sweet Connections. It is just darling and has a HUGE playroom in the back! Full of toys, two train tables, a tent, books and a plat form like stage. Reese and I shared a little vanilla frozen yogurt (which she loved), played and met another member of the Moms Club.

On the way home I was thankful she didn't pass out!
