Reese rang in the new year with a high fever (reaching 103.5), little appetite and very clingy. After day 3, I called the Advance Nurse which then made an appointment to take her in on a Sunday to Urgent Care (thank God no ER!). We met with a very nice and sweet NP who notice her external lymph nodes were swollen and diagnosed Reese with Roseola. The NP said that tomorrow she will most likely get a "lacey" rash on her trunk and face but that the fever should go away.
Sure enough, Monday morning her woke with a rash and never got a fever. She continues to be very fussy and clingy, but seems to mostly on the road to recover.
I rescheduled her 12 month appointment until next week because I didn't want to drag her to the Doctors and for them to push doing her shots. I figured another week was no big deal.
Reese weighed it at 18.06 lbs!
