Reese (& I) spent the beginning of March over at 25th street helping my Mom sort through years of stuff in preparation for the house going on the market. We would get up, eat and pack up and go over. Reese was good at sitting in her vibrating chair or laying on the bed while we went through items, boxes, drawers and junk! But boy were we tired by the weeks end. We were so used to doing the day at our leisure :-)
It affected Reese a bit in that she wasn't getting a good nap . . . a nice long one. If we are home, the morning nap is usually in the swing - which she loves! But if we are at Gigi's or out - it doesn't happen and she will only cat nap. And 7pm rolls around and she would (and will) cry until 9pm with lost of nursing in between, but won't sleep. She is just too tired. I try to avoid this by having her nap, but like I said we are out or sometimes she isn't having that. If we are home for her afternoon nap, I am VERY much trying to put her down drowsy (or even awake) in her crib, putting on music and leaving her in the crib. She doesn't really cry, she talks and yells - but never a tear. Then it is silent . . . and she is asleep. Then in the evening, well . . . we have a new nighttime routine that seems to be working . . . but that is another post!
BTW, my childhood home is officially on the market and the Open House will start on Sunday, 3/23. In case you were looking, or had a million to spend :-P

Hi Jenny!
Wow, the munchkin's getting big! I love babies with a little chunk! She's adorable...
I can't say I'm surprised that your Mom has put the 25th St. house on the market but I'm a little sad about it...I've always loved it, great location, etc etc.
Love to everyone.
xx Laura & Auntie Pat
